The Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix of Aruba – managed by Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) – has implemented a comprehensive management policy for its Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) with the purpose of quantifying, reducing and offsetting them in the coming years.

AAA’s carbon policy is incorporated with the long-term vision of European and other American countries for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate-neutral economy by 2050. This is also in line with the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.

As part of this strategy the airport has obtained in July 2020 the Level 1 Certificate of the Airport Carbon Accreditation Program which refers to the mapping of its controlled GHG emissions.

Enerion is proud to provide AAA its consultancy services to achieve this accreditation.
