The 6 airports of the AERODOM Group, part of VINCI AIRPORTS, have achieved Level 2 accreditation of the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) program.
The accreditation, issued by ACI-LAC in this month of June, was achieved after demonstrating a level of reduction in controlled carbon emissions with respect to the baseline period in each of the 6 airports. At the group level, this reduction was close to 20% of emissions per passenger, which in absolute terms is equivalent to a reduction of 2 800 tCO2e.
This achievement has been possible thanks to the implementation of actions to generate photovoltaic energy; energy efficiency measures in lighting, conditioning systems and water distribution; waste separation management programs; training and awareness for employees and stakeholders; among other.
