The AIC has become the first airport in the Dominican Republic to reach Level 2 accreditation, which refers to the reduction of its Greenhouse Gas emissions. This accreditation highlights the implementation of energy efficiency measures, but above all, of renewable electricity generation through a 3 MW photovoltaic plant.
